Lincoln took home the 2024 Boys and Girls Varsity team titles at Districts. Ida B Wells and Grant finished second and third on the Boys side, while McDaniel and Roosevelt joined the podium for the Girls. Full individual PIL District Finals results are sorted by school above.

Ida B Wells Boys and Grant Girls Win District Golf Championships at Heron Lakes

The 2024 PIL District Golf tournament took place at Heron Lakes in late April. 

Ida B Wells took home the Boys team title and members Lucas Devlin, Otto LaPrete, Dawson Auvil, Jake Meurer, and Roman Scherzer advanced to represent the PIL at state competitions. Joining them were two more state qualifying individuals: Lincoln’s Quinn Hefele, who shot a PIL best score of 70 at Districts, and Grant’s Emerson Storer.

Grant captured the Girls team title, sending Emma Marrs, Marnie Marrs, Arden Carnes, Natalierose Leonard, and Elena George to state competitions. Additionally both Lucia Donovan and Elise Madore from Ida B Wells moved on to compete as individuals at state.
